Atlanta Weddings | Christina & Jared are hitched! | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

Christina and Jared are such a fun and quirky couple! We spent most of our shoot quoting Old Greg (whichconsists of a whole lot of ridiculousness) and telling jokes. They are so madly in love with each other– their playful chemistry makes it terribly hard for me to put my camera down. Wait, wait… one more!

This is a post-shoot photographed at an awesome little park in Cartersville, GA. We stumbled upon a perfect little barn on the side of the road on the way back. The feel of this set is seemingly bi-polar—attributed to the weather of course. We experienced a moody and foggy morning that transpired into a beautiful sunny afternoon.

This was intended to be a “sneak peek!” but I couldn’t help myself!

enjoy this sneak stare!

Sneak Peek! | Whitney & Tucker After Shoot | Destination Wedding Photographer

September 27th, 2011

This summer, I trekked across the U.S for an adventure! This summer, I trekked across the U.S for an adventure! Road tripping out west was definitely on the top of my bucket list, so I decided– since I didn’t have any weddings booked in July/early August that I would take advantage of my time off… and do some soul searching. I’ve always HATED commuting and being in traffic. Me + Traffic = Road Rage Extraordinaire! But driving for leisure is a different experience all together. With good music and the open road… the mind can travel.

While onĀ  my trip— I was lucky enough to schedule a shoot with a few of my favorite clients– Whitney & Tucker. They are avid fly fishers from Denver. We greeted our morning with Manmosas and bloody Marys and started our adventure to the “Pooter” River.

Apparently I have the sense of humor of a 8th grade boy because I DIED laughing when I heard that we were going to the “Pooter” river, but only to my embarrassment– it’s spelled POUDRE… which isn’t nearly as funny as originally thought to be.

Here is a shot taken in transit to our next location. :)

Many more to come!

Sneak Peek! | Dorian & Mac are Hitched! | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

September 26th, 2011

One eyed dogs, Jagermeister, and giant cupcakes! Need I say more?! Sometimes weddings could go on into the night and I would keep on dancing. That was definitely the case with Dorian & Mac’s big day at the Piedmont Room at Park Tavern. I couldn’t leave without catching a photo or two of them with [...]

There are definitely more to come!

Engagement Shoot! | Amy & Justin are tying the knot! | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

September 7th, 2011

As I was driving to the coffee shop, eagerly awaiting Amy & Justin— I couldn’t help but wonder what they would be like. I was forewarned to not judge… considering they would be “decked out” in Renaissance Festival gear. But the only thing running through my head was meat on a stick… turkey legs… and [...]

As I was driving to the coffee shop, eagerly awaiting Amy & Justin— I couldn’t help but wonder what they would be like. I was forewarned to not judge… considering they would be “decked out” in Renaissance Festival gear. But the only thing running through my head was meat on a stick… turkey legs… and the petting zoo— they gotta be cool!

When I walked in, Amy was comfortably perched next to Justin. She was wearing an all black gypsy outfit with a crocheted hat, a belly dancing styled coin skirt with a black tiered skirt underneath. Justin was wearing a t-shirt and cargo shorts. This is my kind of couple. Detail oriented, free-spirited, and outgoing mixed with old fashioned, laid back, quiet type. They are a perfect balance.

Amy and Justin wanted a location that was important to them so we decided to shoot their engagement session at the same location as their first date— Marietta Square… where they swing danced the night away.

Here are a few from their shoot!
